Introducing....South Florida's Hottest Calendar Chefs, 2011!!
Let's face it, Chefs are the new Rock Stars. You can recognize them by first name alone....Paula, Emeril, Bobby, Giada, Mario, Todd, Wolfgang... And it's all because they're on TV. Well, South Florida is home to many chefs who are as equally as talented (if not more so) as the famous TV chefs...and they've got stacks of awards to prove it. The South Florida's Hottest Chefs Calendar was created to give 12 outstanding chefs in our own backyard, the recognition they deserve...and to introduce these chefs to potential new customers at events throughout the year; along with an incentive to visit their restaurants.
By "Hot" we're talkin' about reputation. The 12 Chefs featured in the 2011 Hottest Chefs Calendar have met some or all of our qualifications as chefs who are either award winning, community oriented, have extreme passion for their art, and/or are just plain HOT! Chefs were chosen from a culmination of votes from SouthFloridaDines.com users, local food writers, and our own team of experts.
